January 31st scrimmage cancelled

Note:

The January 31, 2013 scrimmage at OLL with Irvington has been cancelled.

Coach Bob wants to remind everyone that there will be a regular practice that night instead.

Coming events:

• Wednesday, January 30th   bout with Arlington at Arlington High School, bus transportation to be provided after school from Lourdes, parent pickup afterwards at Arlington High School.

• Thursday, January 31st  bout with Irvington is cancelled, we will have a regular practice that evening.

• 2nd Super Saturday at Clarkstown North High School, February 2, 2013.  

• OLL high school fencing fundraiser February 23rd and 24th, see flyer below.

• Save the date, Saturday, March 23, 2013 possible end of season fencing dinner.

Awards will be given to the top three fencers in each competition. If you would like to, teams can be made up of four fencers. The team with the highest ranking will win a $100 prize for their school. Team and individual trophies will be awarded.*

The Epee tournament on January 26, 2013 will change location from Nyack High School to Clarkstown North High School.

Coach Bob wants all Epee fencers to be at Clarkstown North High School Annex on Congers Road at 8:30 a.m.

*** The Annex gym is in the back of the school. After entering main parking lot, stay to the right around tennis courts. Continue to the bottom and the gym entrance will be on the left.

Two New Events!

Wednesday, January 30, 2013 fencing bout with Irvington @ Irvington High School, after school, a bus will be provided to Irvington and will return to OLL afterwards.

Thursday, January 31, 2013 after school Irvington will come to Lourdes to fence.     

THERE WILL BE NO FENCING DURING EXAM WEEK, JANUARY 21 THROUGH JANUARY 28.
