OLL Fencing Dinner

Important information for February

 New Scrimmage this week on Wednesday, February 13th @ 3:30 PM, At OLL with Arlington. Pick up time 6 p.m.

 We are hosting a fundraiser Tournament on Sunday Feb 24 ONLY (change from previous see flyer below) 

• We're condensing the Warriors invitational tournament to Sunday February 24 ONLY due to the low registration.
• Please have all interested fencers from Lourdes sign up as this will drive registration numbers.

Concession stand fundraiser on February 17th @ Peekskill Fencing Center

• Mr. Acevedo is offering the opportunity for OLL fencers to run the concession stand for this major tournament
• Cash made from the sales at the concession stand staffed by OLL fencers that day will go to the OLL fencing team
• This is a great fundraiser opportunity for our team. Please try to support this activity.
• Please sign up with Sarah Acevedo by Wednesday, Feb. 13th.

Food Drive Service Project on February 23rd @ Stop & Shop, Wappingers Falls (in BJ's shopping plaza), 9am-3pm

• Food to be delivered to the St. Vincent DePaul Society Food Pantry sponsored by St. Columba Parish, Hopewell Junction
• All OLL sports teams are required to sponsor a service project and this will satisfy that requirement
• We need 4 fencers and 2 parents to staff each time slot  (9-11, 11-1, 1-3)
• Please e-mail Peggy Dolan at pdolanbsa@gmail.com with your sign-ups
• Peggy will need 1 parent with a van to help transport the food to St. Columba when we are done. Please let her know if you can help.
• We would like all the fencers to please wear their OLL fencing jackets so that we are easily recognizable. If it is cold, wear several layers underneath the jacket.

End of season Fencing Dinner will be held at Coppola's Restaurant on March 23rd, the cost will be $20.00 per person, a flyer will be posted on Wednesday with all of the detailed information.

OLL Fencing Fundraiser

To register go to http://askfred.net, when on the site, select home, select upcoming tournaments, browse tournaments, in "Name" box, type  Warriors and enter information on the form.  The easiest way to sign up is to email Sara (see above flyer) or email Cathy at cakgak6@yahoo.com and we can register you at the site.  Money is due the day of the event.

Please remember this will be a long day, bring healthy snacks and water!

We will be going out after the tournament to a local diner.

We are going to try and get a group photo of the team!
